The work
BANGKOK, THAILAND
Two lanes, one discipline. I take apart what happened after the fact, and I build systems designed so there is less to take apart later.
LANE ONE
Forensics
I consult on digital forensics and cybersecurity cases for government contractors and law enforcement agencies, including work with the US Secret Service, the FBI, and British authorities. The casework is the same discipline I have practiced since my teens: reconstructing what a system did, in what order, and on whose instruction, from the artifacts it left behind.
That work happens from Sarasota, in Orlando, and wherever the case is. It is the reason the rest of this page exists: every product decision I make is downstream of two decades of watching exactly how systems fail and how they get broken into.
LANE TWO
Building
I founded and run three software companies: Eclix Technologies, Tensor Interactive, and Vectivra. I still write code every day. C built the foundation, Python carried two decades of tooling, and the products ship in TypeScript.
UNDERNEATH IT
Infrastructure
Everything I ship runs on infrastructure I administer myself, on data center colocations spanning Falkenstein, Germany, to the Netherlands. No reseller hosting, no one between me and the machine.
The commute is real: the work has taken me across the United States, Europe, and Asia, and some weeks are spent more in the air than at a desk.
